Why work with a Coach?

The benefits of coaching are as wide-ranging as the individuals who seek out a Coach. We may be looking for specific answers to a problem or big life question and we might feel stuck and unsure on which way to go. We may be looking for more: more peace of mind, more options, more impact. We also may be looking for less: less stress, less confusion, less conforming. Whatever the reason, it starts with a stirring of curiosity. If that sounds familiar, you are in the right place.

Our approach

Bee Bright Collective believes the answers to all of our big questions are already available to each of the amazing people with whom we work. Through various Co-Active and mindset approaches, our clients gain clarity and direction to find these answers within, while learning and growing in their self awareness. Each person has unique goals, we are here to make them Bright.

FAQs

How do we see Coaching?

Your Bee Bright coach is your unconditional champion.  As such, they hold you naturally creative, resourceful and whole, and as the expert of your own life and work.

Your Bee Bright Coach does not believe you are broken or in need of fixing.

Your Bee Bright Coach knows you have come to coaching as someone who is ready and able to take responsibility for being the best version of yourself and, as such, are seeking something more, better or different in your life and work.

What is Coaching?

At its core, coaching is about deepening the learning about yourself and moving you forward into action. The intention is to use our time together and, more importantly, our time apart to gain new information and keen insights that will help move you forward toward creating the life and career you want for yourself.

What does a coaching sessions look like?

Your Bee Bright Coach will use techniques and strategies to explore and define where you are and where you want to be. They will ask a lot of questions and listen carefully to your answers. They will sometimes share some of their own observations and insights and, together, you will co-design “field work” for you to do between sessions. You are always at choice to say yes or no.

Will it be easy?

Your coach may challenge you – always from a place of championing you to the best version of yourself – and they will co-design with you to know what works and doesn’t work for your coaching relationship.

Why Co-Active Coaching?

Co-Active Coaching is accredited with the International Coach Federation (ICF) recognized as the “Gold Standard” of Coaching by the Institute of Coaching, a Harvard Medical School affiliate that has linked the four cornerstones of the Co-Active Model to evidence based scientific research.

What is not considered Coaching?

Coaching services are not in any way to be construed as, or a replacement for, psychotherapy, legal counsel, consulting, counseling, recruiting, job placement or medical advice. These services are valuable and represent support you may choose to engage with in addition to coaching.

Bee Bright Collective coaches strongly support all forms of psychotherapy with a trained practitioner.
